What to Make for Father’s Day Brunch

Who could say no to Father’s Day brunch? Let everyone sleep in while you pull together a delicious feast. Start the coffee maker and pour the mimosas because it’s time to celebrate the father figures in your life.

Here are two egg-centric ideas for your homemade brunch. Bonus points if you make it up early enough to grab some farm-fresh eggs from the local farmer’s market!

Horseradish Eggs & Bacon

Is it getting hot in here? Check out the Heat Meter Flight, our special trio of Original, Hot, and Extra Hot Horseradish – the perfect gift for an adventurous eater. Take it for a spin by treating Dad to a fun twist on the classic eggs and bacon breakfast, served to their personal heat preference.

Level up your scrambled eggs by beating in a dollop of horseradish before cooking, or keep it fresh as a garnish on top. Serve it up with the works: perfectly toasted brioche, sausage and bacon, sliced tomato, potato hash with onions, and a hot cup of coffee. Yum.

Quiche with Horseradish and Dill

A delicious, custardy quiche is a great way to start the day. Grab a jar of Dennis’ Original Horseradish and a fresh handful of dill for this savoury treat.

Don’t have time to make your own pastry? No problem – we firmly believe in the magic of a store-bought pie crust. Blend together a scoop of horseradish, eggs, dill, and whatever dairy you have (cream cheese, creme fraiche, or sour cream will do the trick). Add in your favourite pre-cooked filling like ham, potato, or even salmon, pour into the pie shell, and bake. It’ll be out of the oven in less than half an hour ready to eat!
