Escape to Greece for a night by trying this Greek-style horseradish burger! This carefully seasoned burger patty is topped off with a delicious yogurt sauce made with Dennis’ Original Horseradish and will give you a taste of Greece right from your kitchen.
Ingredients
Sauce:
- 2 cups Greek yogurt
- ½ jar Dennis’ Original Horseradish
- 1 garlic clove, finely grated
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Burger:
- 1 pound ground meat of choice (beef, lamb, chicken, turkey)
- ¼ cup finely chopped red onion
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 3 tablespoons pine nuts
- ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups arugula leaves
- Sliced red onions
- Sliced cucumber
- Sliced tomatoes
- Extra feta cheese
- 4 buns of choice
Directions
- Step One
- In a medium bowl whisk together sauce ingredients and chill in refrigerator
- Step Two
- In a large bowl, mix together patty ingredients until they have just pulled together (do not overmix). Shape into 4 equally sized patties
- Step Three
- Cook the burgers over a grill or skillet for 3 minutes each side, until fully cooked through
- Step Four
- Serve on your bun of choice, topped off with chilled yogurt sauce, feta cheese, onions, cucumber and tomatoes.
