BIOENTERPRISE CANADA’S FOODSHIFT PROGRAM: WE’RE IN

Dennis’ Horseradish is proud to announce that we have been selected to participate in Bioenterprise Canada’s FoodShift program!

FoodShift is funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (@feddevontario @feddev_ontario FedDev Ontario). The program supports food and beverage processors in Ontario adopt innovative clean technologies into their operations, which will help reduce the sector’s carbon footprint.

The Government of Canada, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), is supporting Bioenterprise with a $2,950,000 investment to deliver the FoodShift program. Recipients will receive up to $50,000 in non-repayable matching funds to identify and address inefficiencies in their food and beverage processing operations that will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

“Bioenterprise’s delivery of the FoodShift program demonstrates the powerful result of bringing industry and government together to support innovative and committed entrepreneurs,” says the Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario. “Congratulations to this round of recipients – I can’t wait to see what you do next as you lead the next generation of clean technologies in the food and beverage sector.”
